Our client, a prominent manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH, is in need of your expertise as they put the finishing touches on their Business Central implementation. They are experiencing challenges with a key customization impacting their shipping processes and are seeking a dedicated expert who can diagnose, develop, and implement the perfect solution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyze the current Business Central Lanham E-Ship Lanham EDI setup to identify and address the core of the customization issues.
- Develop and roll out bespoke Business Central features tailored to solve shipping process bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to seamlessly integrate systems.
- Customize and fine-tune EDI workflows to enhance order fulfillment, automate shipping, and ensure compliance with trading partners.
- Diagnose and rectify any data integration, mapping, or automation anomalies between Business Central, Lanham E-Ship, and EDI.
- Document procedures and share knowledge to empower internal teams for sustained success post-implementation.
- 7 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV development.
- Proven skills in AL programming, extensions, and customized Business Central applications .
- Direct experience with Lanham E-Ship and Lanham EDI tools.
- A solid grasp of shipping workflows, carrier integration, and EDI transaction nuances .
- The ability to assess existing customizations and boost their performance.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving acumen.
- Bonus points for experience in the manufacturing or distribution sectors .
- Start Date : ASAP
- Duration : Short-term contract, estimated at 4-8 weeks , with a possibility of extension.
- Location : Remote, with potential visits to the Cincinnati, OH site if needed.
