We are a leading non-clinical IT organization in the healthcare sector, looking for an exceptional Principal Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and help us drive a data-driven culture within our organization.
What you'll be doing...
- Act as an integral member of our analytics community, playing a pivotal role in fostering a data-driven culture.
- Function as a trusted advisor to organization leaders and department team members, providing actionable interpretation of data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data, generate reports, and present information to customers at all levels, including executives, physicians, clinical staff, peers, and external regulatory bodies.
- Develop comprehensive routine and ad-hoc reports and implement new or improved reporting processes to support strategic goals or key operations.
- Fulfill complex requests, manage deadlines, and maintain timeliness and quality of delivery, while providing clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a mentor to peers.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
- Required experience with Epic.
- Expertise in the use of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools and report building.
- Demonstrated application of statistical concepts.
- Expertise in the use of relational databases and development of data visualizations.
- Proven customer service experience with strong active listening skills.
- Ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the use of any Enterprise Databases or shared data repository.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) report development.
- Experience in the use of a programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science, required.
