Job Location: Onboard Vessels (Domestic & International Travel Required)

Job Overview:
Weseek a skilled and motivatedField Engineer to join our team, specializing in installing, maintaining, and troubleshootingcommunication systems, cameras, and computer systems onboard vessels. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience working in marine environments, ensuring reliable operation of onboard systems to support operational excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Setup:
- Installed, configured, and commissioned communication systems, cameras, and onboard computer vessels.
- Work closely with project managers and other technical teams to ensure accurate and timely installation according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct site assessments to identify the optimal placement and integration of equipment.
- System Configuration and Testing:
- Tested and configured communication devices, cameras, and computer systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform calibration and troubleshoot to resolve any system issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure systems meet safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Maintenance & Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for installed systems, ensuring long-term functionality and system uptime.
- Troubleshooted hardware and software issues related to communication equipment, cameras, and computers.
- Collaborate with remote support teams for complex troubleshooting or if specialized expertise is needed.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
- Generate detailed reports regarding system status and any issues or improvements for management and clients.
- Provide feedback on system performance to improve operational efficiencies.
- Customer Interaction & Training:
- Provide training and support to vessel crew and staff on properly using installed systems.
- Served as the point of contact for any technical questions or concerns from vessel operators.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues quickly and professionally.
- Health, Safety, & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards during installations and troubleshooting.
- Followed guidelines for working in marine environments, ensuring minimal risk to personal safety and system integrity.
