What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Night Shift Production Technician position at BlueTriton Brands?
We are seeking a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand during our busy season. This full-time role will be on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including night shifts and holidays. You will operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment. Additionally, you will record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, and production output.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment consisting of fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts.
- Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, and production output.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including efficiency, production, and downtime.
- Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks.
- Inspect raw materials against quality standards before loading them.
Requirements
- Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift, including start-up and handover meetings.
- Exposure to high-speed production and/or basic maintenance is preferred.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus.
- Forklift experience is preferred, but we are able to train new associates.
