Responsibilities
- Handles planting of trees, shrubs and perennials for Garden Store sales including New sales, replacements/warranties
- Plant removal as required by job
- Opening and closing tasks at the store
- Lawn & Plant Maintenance Tasks around the store when not on jobs
- Contacts customers to schedule planting times inside of work week
- Maintains sales folder to ensure jobs are completed in 1-2 weeks
- Helps Landscape department with replacement planting and no charge sheets
- Completes simple Landscape jobs
- Assists sales staff, deliverymen, and other areas as workloads demand
- Helps in the Garden store with sales and general customer service
- Back up delivery person when needed
- Stocking plant material. Maintaining signage and plant tag pricing
- Loading customers with plant material, bagged goods and bulk material
- Works Saturday at Garden Store
- Work Holidays as needed
- Helps with watering as needed including Sundays on a rotating schedule
- Snow removal tasks required during winter months
- Other duties as needed
- Retail Sales Experience
- Landscape installation 1-2 years preferred
- Horticultural experience 1-2 years preferred
- CDL Preferred or willing to obtain one in reasonable timeframe
- Strong Work Ethic
- Team player and ability to work with others
- Reliable, responsible, respectful. Ability to take instruction and follow directions
- Strong Knowledge of Plants and landscape materials
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans
- Able to work under pressure and multi-task
- Farming and Construction skills

- Must be able to perform physical labor (including but not limited to: crouch, bend, kneel, lift and carry) for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of Weather conditions
- On your feet for eight hours a day
- Flexibility in scheduling; weekends
- Ability to operate Skid-Steer or learn to operate
- Ability to operate different vehicles with trailers
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
