What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Fabricator position at Bluewater Architectural Products?
We're growing, and we're hiring!
As a Junior and Senior Field & Shop Technician, you'll do the following:
- Welding and Painting Steel Door Frames
- Fabricating Steel Borrowed Lites and Window Walls
- Preparing Steel Doors for Hardware and/or Lites
- Modifying Wood Doors
- Building Custom Millwork/Barn Doors
- Installing and Servicing Commercial Doors and Hardware
- Installing Steel or Wood Frames
- Installing and Servicing Electronic Access Control Systems
You'll work out of town and stay in a hotel. You'll need to understand plumb, level, and square, read a tape measure, and use common measurement tools like framing squares and lasers. You'll also need to utilize basic math skills and efficiently use common shop tools such as screwdrivers, drills, saws, etc.
