The Ottawa Veterinary Clinic and Bluffton Veterinary Hospital and Pet Care Center are looking for a Full-Time, long-term, highly motivated, personable, reliable team player with enthusiasm for veterinary healthcare for our Client Services Representative position.
We are a high-quality, 5 doctor, small animal practice in Bluffton and Ottawa, Ohio. We also have a groomer on staff and have a boarding facility. The successful candidate must enjoy working with animals but ESPECIALLY their owner. Computer experience is a MUST. Knowledge of Clientrax software is a bonus! Applicants must be friendly, outgoing, reliable, have a polished, professional appearance, and be detail oriented.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting clients in person and on the telephone, promoting the positive image of the hospital, acting as the clients’ liaison to the doctors, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and fee collections.
Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekend hours. One year of experience in veterinary healthcare is preferred but not required. A love of animals does not qualify one for this position. You must be able to interact with clients/the public. Competitive wage and benefits package.

Veterinary Technician Wanted: The Heritage Veterinary Clinics, LLC is a busy 4-doctor, 2-location practice, seeking a full-time and/or part-time Veterinary Technician who is dedicated to practicing high quality medicine, while also providing excellent client and patient services.
Our Veterinarians are enjoyable to work with and allow the staff to use their skills to their fullest. Required attributes include the ability to focus and stay calm in a fast paced environment, punctuality, competent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, compassion, dedication to client service, the dexterity to work individually as well as within a team, and the capability to multi-task and prioritize. Preferred applicants would be able to sit for VTNE within the next 6 months to a year or be currently licensed. Veterinary Assistants with previous experience would be considered. Current veterinary technician students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safe and secure restraint of patients for diagnostics and treatments
- Intravenous catheter placement
- SQ, IV, IM injections
- Subcutaneous fluid administration
- Effective collection and communication of vitals to the veterinarians
- Triaging emergency cases over the phone as well as on arrival to the clinic
- In-house lab diagnostics: fecals, urinalysis, ear cytology, skin scrapes, etc.
- In-house bloodwork: CBC, Chemistries, Electrolytes, SNAP tests, etc.
- Proper restraint and development techniques for digital radiographs
- Surgical and anesthetic experience is preferred
- Knowledgeable with veterinary pharmaceuticals, preventatives and vaccines
