Job Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for material all loading, unloading & assembly processes.
Additional Responsibilities For This Position Include
- Feeds/Inserts parts in machines in a production environment.
- Preps, assembles and packages products in a production area.
- Prepares material for the next order
- Inspects, packages & palletizes finished product prior to transfer to the warehouse
- Box making
- To be cross trained to load/unload metal profiles, and hooks on the Powder Coating lines
- Cardboard & trash removal
- Box strapping & handling

Additional Requirements For This Position Include
- A High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis
- Desire and ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Must demonstrate an attention to detail and effective planning skills
- Will be required to acquire and maintain all job relevant forklift certifications
- Job experience, job performance, safety performance and attendance will be factors in selecting a candidate.
- Occasional sitting, squatting and kneeling
- Constant standing
- Frequent walking, reaching, twisting and turning
- Performs overhead work occasionally
- Lifts/Carries 26-50 lbs. up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift
- Pushes/Pulls 26-50 lbs. up to a distance of 50 feet, over 40 times per shift
- Frequent use of both hands to move, pickup or finely manipulate objects
