BluMine Health is Kentucky’s largest DPC company, with clinics in Kentucky, Indiana and now expanding into West Virginia, to serve Blackhawk Mining employees and their families. We have a ten-year client history as a reputable, long-standing healthcare provider. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a healthcare provider that is interested in joining our team in May of 2025 for training, in preparation for the clinic opening in June of 2025. Availability to travel to Kentucky for training is required.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
- Verify demographic information.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient scheduling and electronic medical records.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow at the front desk.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with phone systems and basic administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient service best practices.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively at the front desk.
Office hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.
