Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in integrating Microsoft Project Online and SAP data sources. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and report/dashboard development, with a proven track record of delivering insights to support enterprise decision-making. This role is critical in supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards integrating data from Project Online and SAP systems.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient Power BI solutions.
• Build and maintain data models, DAX calculations, and dataflows to ensure performance and usability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop and manage data extraction processes from SAP (using SAP connectors, BEx queries, etc.) and Project Online (via OData feeds or REST APIs).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting platforms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize report performance and data refresh schedules.
• Create documentation for processes, standards, and procedures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and analysts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 5 years in Power BI development.
• Strong hands-on experience working with Microsoft Project Online and SAP ERP/SAP BW data sources.
• Expert in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.
• Experience with SAP connectors (ODBC, OLE DB, HANA, BEx), and integrating SAP into Power BI.
• Knowledge of Project Online architecture, OData feeds, and its integration with Power BI.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and datasets.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Power BI or Azure certifications.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, or Synapse Analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
