Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced leader in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale restoration projects. The Construction Project Director at BluSky is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from sales and revenue generation to project budgeting and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals, negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Project Budgeting: Oversee and expedite revenue production in accordance with monthly goals, work with the project team to ensure timeliness of deposit, progress, and final billings, and provide oversight and direction to the project manager in production of revenue.
- Customer Satisfaction: Consistent weekly communication with all stakeholders, setting expectations upfront with the customer, holding teams accountable to provide updates, check-in with the customer throughout the project, and email communication should have all stakeholders on the thread.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry with a proven track record of sales growth.
- Extensive construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience.
- Must be able to attend business development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience utilizing Xactimate and other estimating software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong knowledge of project management, financial processes, and administration required.
- Strong business ethics, integrity, and the ability to perform in highly autonomous environments required.
