We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees while adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, and other payroll-related information.
- Ensure proper tax deductions, benefits deductions, and other withholdings are applied to payroll.
- Maintain employee payroll records and update any necessary changes to employee data (e.g., salary changes, deductions, tax information).
- Prepare direct deposits, ensuring the correct payment of salaries and wages.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters in a professional and timely manner.
- Generate payroll reports, including tax filings, and submit required filings to relevant authorities (e.g., tax agencies, benefit providers).
- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including distribution of W-2s and other tax documentation.
- Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
