Job Title: Retail Banking Sales & Service Representative
Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Banking Sales & Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales experience to our customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and sales experience to customers and prospects
- Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions
- Work collaboratively with branch teams and partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve business objectives
- Act as an originator of consumer loans and require Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify opportunities
- Engage customers to complete needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions addressing sales and service needs
- Support customer transactions needs based on customer traffic
- Grow BMO's business by reaching out, generating appointments, and building new relationships within the community
- Address questions and resolve issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks
- Apply risk management framework to protect Bank's assets and maintain quality of lending portfolio
- Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in accordance with sound credit granting principles and Bank policies
Requirements:
- Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed (Canada only)
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Experience in financial services is an asset
- Confident and experienced in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in consultative customer service or sales role, with drive to deliver personal customer experience
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $41,715.00 - $55,000.00
