Acts as a trusted partner to the Managing Director (MD), Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and supports them in the design, development and implementation of HR strategic priorities for the line of business (LOB). This includes directly leading key HR strategic initiatives for the LOB and/or building change management plans in support of critical/high impact projects in that LOB. Represents LOB to provide input to Centres of Expertise (COE) Partners on LOB nuances for COE program design & execution.

Accountabilities
- Leads the design, development & implementation of HR strategic priorities, identified by the CHRO/MD, HRBP as a high priority people solution needed to advance the LOB people strategy.
- Leads change management planning & execution in support of business change execution.
- Operates as a change management consultant to strategic HRBPs by leveraging Enterprise HR change playbook & toolkit.
- Submits proposals, on behalf of CHRO, for support from SI pool & participates in prioritization discussions across portfolios to ensure resource optimization.
- Acts as People, Process & Chage (PP&C) relationship manager on assigned projects/programs and ensures alignment to overall LOB goals.
- Develops People and Culture solutions by leveraging COE frameworks and makes recommendations based on an understanding of BMO’s Human Capital strategy, LOB business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Leads the design, development & implementation of LOB specific change management plans, ensuring jurisdictional and horizontal implications are considered.
- Designs change plans with a focus on HRBP, manager & employee experience.
- Ensures capacity & readiness for change adoption in HRBP and LOB teams.
- Collaborates with team of LOB People Initiatives Partners to take a horizontal view of the impact of COE cyclical & non-cyclical program delivery in each LOB.
- Provides input to COE Change Partners on the LOB nuances for COE cyclical & non-cyclical program design & implementation.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitors and tracks performance of the strategic initiative being led and addresses any issues.
- Identifies enablers and key issues prior to and during implementation, raises issues with stakeholders and offers solutions to resolve issues or risks that jeopardize delivery.
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
- Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

- Typically 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
