We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain client hardware, software, and network equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for various systems and network components
  • Monitor client systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members to design and implement network and system upgrades
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client systems, configurations, and issue resolution
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a systems technician role or a similar position.
  • Understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with managing network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Google device management, Apple OS / IOS. 
  • Conceptional knowledge of cloud infrastructure deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Relevant industry certifications such as the examples below are a plus:

  • CompTIA A , Network , Security , Cloud
  • Datto Certified Advanced Technician (DCAT)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • SonicWALL Certified Network Security Administrator (SNSA)
  • Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin (UEWA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Google Workspace Administrator
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT)
  • RingCentral Certified Communications Professional (RCCP)
  • 8x8 Technical Certification Program (8x8 TCP)
