What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Equipment Repair Technician position at BMT Maintenance LLC?
THIS IS FOR COMMERCIAL RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT REPAIR!
Applicant must be able to:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems within commercial kitchen equipment repair. Conduct HVAC repair and Maintenance of hot side and cold side equipment
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests from customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Fabricate and install parts as needed to repair equipment.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of various equipment and systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of technicians.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
