Job Summary:
This is a great opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Associate at BMW of North Haven. At BMW of North Haven, we are seeking a highly organized and reliable full-time Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the shipping, receiving, and inventorying of all incoming and outgoing parts and vehicles. You will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $17 to $20 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefit package, flexible work schedule, and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
• Package and prepare outgoing parts, materials, and vehicles for shipment
• Monitor transit times, delivery status, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders
• Receive inbound packages and materials, verify quality and quantity, and book into receiving system
• Place shipping labels on packages, pallets, and boxes for shipment
• Assist in inventory control and organization
• Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
• Ensure that all shipments are received correctly and in a timely manner
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years of experience in shipping/receiving/warehousing
• Experience with inventory management
• Expertise in the use of various warehouse equipment and software
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
