What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving position at Westaff?
Westaff is Looking to Hire a Temporary Part-Time Shipping & Receiving Associate in Cheshire, CT!
Flexible hours! 10am-3pm, 11am-4pm or 12pm-4pm
Pay: $25-30 based on experience
Shipping & Receiving responsibilities are:
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Documents materials disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Material Handling by Forklift
- Wrapping and assembling pallets as needed
- Completes proper shipment procedures and ensures proper packaging
Shipping & Receiving requirements are:
- Certified to use a Forklift
- Experience using FedEx worldship a plus, or other shipping software preferred
- Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs
- MUST have good computer skills/ knowledge
- 1-3 years previous warehouse experience! Amazon, FedEx, and UPS warehouses translate well!
