Job Summary: The Real Estate Specialist is responsible for supporting various functions within the Real Estate Department. Other responsibilities include assisting with asset management, tenant relations, facilities management and commercial development.
Essential Job Duties:
- Works collaboratively with internal departments, business partners and various governmental agencies to provide resolutions to both long term and day-to-day issues.
- Maintains accurate records of all leases and agreements, including effective dates, termination dates, and type of operation.
- Identifies and monitors compliance issues as they relate to public and passenger safety.
- Monitors and follows up for compliance on all agreements, leases, permit terms, and conditions.
- Prepares correspondence, documentation, exhibits, and tenant reports.
- Works directly with legal department as it pertains to analyzing, drafting and finalizing various governing documents.
- Prepares a variety of leases, amendments, permits, and other legal documents for manager review.
- Identifies, analyzes, and processes data to interpret trends or patterns and generate summaries and reports.
- Initiates and cultivates communication with airport tenants, other airport users, business partners and governmental agencies to ensure favorable working relationships among departmental administration, tenants, and community.
- Responds to general requests handled by the Real Estate Department.
- Demonstrates a pro-active, problem-solving mindset.
- Identifies and defines new process improvement opportunities.
- Maintains regular on-time, in-person attendance.
- Follows all safety regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, aviation, airport management, commercial real estate or related field. In lieu of education relevant years of experience.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant years of experience in lieu of education.
- 1 to 3 years relevant experience.
Preferred:
- 1 to 3 years real estate administrative law experience
