Job Title: Facility Coordinator
Reports To: Operations Manager / Senior Facility Director
Job Summary:
We are searching for a qualified facility coordinator to work alongside our office and maintenance staff to ensure our clients buildings and grounds are clean and safe. The facility coordinator oversees all aspects of maintenance functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all clients facilities. Duties include running routine work orders, supporting with emergency work orders, corresponding with sub contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, communicating with clients. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Facilities Coordinator supports Facilities Operations by dispatching service technicians/vendors to locations requiring maintenance repairs
- Responds to inbound inquiries received by phone, email and generates work orders, dispatches service technicians/vendors, and follows through to ensure the service is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Use professional etiquette/communication style to handle incoming inquiries received by multiple communication channels regarding service maintenance and repair requests for core trade services (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, door repair, etc.)
- Dispatch service technicians/vendors in a timely manner
- Utilize available technology systems to thoroughly and accurately gather information, monitor, troubleshoot, and document the progression of work orders
- Follow up with service technicians/vendors to ensure completion of services and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction following completed work order
- Rotational after-hours on-call schedule requirements, to include some holidays and weekends
Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Great leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in Facilities Maintenance/Construction a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
