About the Role :
We are seeking a Civil Estimator with 3-6 years of experience to join our growing construction team in Tampa, FL. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of site development, road construction, utility, and infrastructure projects. If you have experience working with general contractors, site development firms, or heavy civil construction companies , this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment on projects ranging from $5M-$50M .
- Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to collect and analyze pricing information.
- Review blueprints, project specifications, and contracts to develop accurate bid proposals.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, project scheduling, and value engineering efforts.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project cost forecasting.
- Maintain historical cost data and market trends to improve future estimates.
