We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ASSOCIATE, CORPORATE STRATEGY to join our ENTERPRISE EXECUTION AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS team. This role is located in NEW YORK, NY – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Working on fast-paced projects at the top of our senior leadership’s agenda and at the forefront of the financial services industry
- Executing creative analyses and provide insights to both identify issues and arrive at recommendations
- Developing strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences and present them to senior team members and firm leadership
- Monitoring industry trends and shares insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply qualitative frameworks and quantitative analytical approaches and develop recommendations
- Ability to work well on a fast-paced team, to collaborate across functions and to focus on a variety of complex problems across the entire breadth of the financial services ecosystem
- A thoughtful, effective and confident communicator (both oral and written) who can express complex ideas in simple, practical terms for a wide range of audiences
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
- Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset interested in shaping the future of financial services through one of its major stakeholders
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- A global mindset and experience working across a diverse set of environments

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
