We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I to join our ESO Data & Analytics team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL / Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Leading the design and development of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards with rich UI/UX
- Scalable data modeling within power bi and DAX calculations
- Work with business process owners to identify and document reporting requirements including conducting data analysis, data mapping, transformation logic and expected reporting deliverables
- Create and demonstrate data insights prototype to stakeholder and higher management and get the buy in for industrialization
- Adhere and contribute to enhancement/improvement in end to end BI development processes
- Perform detailed data analysis using SQL within in data marts, data lake, or source data systems; Prepare and present finding / key learnings to stakeholders
- Document and follow up of new and active action items. Follow through to resolution / closure in a timely manner
- Maintain open lines of communication with teammates and other internal stakeholders to ensure all data is effectively communicated and addressed
- Staying updated with industry trends and best practices of BI development
- Create and maintain support documentation for all BI reporting and analytics applications
- Attend meetings and present and defend data findings to cross-functional teams
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related fields
- 3 to 5 years’ experience building data visualizations and reporting in PowerBI and Power Cloud with excellent record of accomplishment
- Extensive experience in developing and optimizing complex Power BI solutions
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable data models
- In-depth knowledge of data integration techniques and tools
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation
- Advanced knowledge of DAX calculations and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries
- Ability to architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts for enhanced data insights
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results
- Certifications in Power BI are highly desirable
