We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP II, Solutions Consulting to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.
The Vice President II, Solutions Consulting with the Client Insight & Innovation team will bring together data and analytics, industry insights and product knowledge to provide strategic guidance and expert advice on treasury operations, cash & liquidity management, working capital optimization and treasury technology. This role requires a deep understanding of leveraging data analytics to build longstanding client relationships and support clients with treasury transformation in a consultative and advisory manner to help drive strategic sales in conjunction with our Treasury Sales and Global Client Management Teams.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Leading with Payments and Cash Management industry expertise to become a trusted advisor for Corporate Treasurers across Fortune 500 companies, banks, and non-bank financial institutions
- Lead Advisory engagements for cross-industry segments with ability to align market benchmarking with industry/firm strategy, technology and process optimization as well as cash & liquidity optimization
- Leverage expertise in treasury management and technology (i.e. ERP/TMS) and deep understanding of corporate treasury processes (i.e. AR/AP payment processes) to design future state for strategic transformation
- Develop and deliver data-driven narratives to establish trusted relationships that lead to advisory engagements with prospective clients
- Deep understanding of correspondent bank network to develop analytics using SWIFT data for corridor analysis to optimize payment flows
- Co-develop analytics with clients and partner with Head of Data & Analytics and Online Banking to commercialize analytic insights
- Publish thought leadership and white papers on Treasury trends with deep-dives into industry-specific treasury narratives
- Present at industry events and host client roundtables on topics such as Treasury Management, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, and AI for Treasury
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. MBA or CTP preferred.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in Treasury Management / Treasury Consulting, Strategy & Analytics, Data Analytics, and Client Management
- Advanced Powerpoint and Excel to develop analytics and modelling; working knowledge of Data Science principles in model development
- Experience with PowerBI, Python & VBA preferred

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Salary : $97,000 - $150,000
