Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert within the assigned function, collaborating with both business and technology teams on technology development projects. They will be responsible for reviewing and providing expertise on business and functional requirements, conducting or coordinating user acceptance testing, analyzing business processes, and participating in operational process re-engineering projects. The role involves working closely with business managers, Senior Analysts, or Team managers to support projects within Securities Operations, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with business and technology teams to provide expertise on technology development projects
- Review and provide input on business and functional requirements (BRD & FRS)
- Conduct or coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Analyze business processes and complete business requirements documents
- Participate in operational process re-engineering projects
- Collaborate with internal clients and various groups outside the functional areas
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial environment and Asset Servicing business
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end operational flows across multiple system applications
- Custody experience with operations to understand impact during requirements gathering
- Ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and manage to resolution
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications:
- 'A' level or equivalent required; degree preferred
- Previous experience in Asset Servicing preferred
