Job Summary:
Join our team and play a pivotal role in administering Snowflake accounts and supporting the Snowflake control plane to facilitate Snowflake tenants' workloads. You will operate within an Agile framework, offering expertise and sharing best software development practices with the team. Collaborate closely with product owners, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams to devise solutions and address design and architectural challenges swiftly. Your ability to conduct rapid proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features will be instrumental in this role. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office at our Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL offices.
Responsibilities:
- Administrate Snowflake accounts and support the Snowflake control plane.
- Work in an Agile methodology to provide software development expertise.
- Collaborate with various teams to solve design and architectural problems.
- Conduct quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in administrating Snowflake DB, including knowledge of Snowflake Information metadata schemas and internals.
- Experience with CI/CD DevOps, Gitlab, and automation.
- Ability to integrate Snowflake with different BI tools.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with distributed cloud services, preferably Azure.
- Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases like Oracle, Vertica, or Hazelcast.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
