Loans Enablement Platform Group Product Manager

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Product Owner to join our Loans Enablement Platform. This role is located in (3 days in office at) Lake Mary, FL or Houston, TX, or Pittsburg, or Remote.
In this role, you will have a meaningful impact in the following ways:
Collaborate closely with Platform Leaders to translate the overall vision into a vision for the pods within the Platform. You’ll be accountable for ensuring the ongoing delivery of value, maintaining a prioritized product roadmap/backlog, continuously assessing feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Take responsibility for leading and providing strategic direction on product management, development, and marketing processes for multiple highly complex global products that are both high impact and high profile.
Develop, lead, and execute the strategic vision for Product or Platform. Own the overall Product/Platform roadmap and align teams around delivery goals.
Offer strong leadership support to multiple pod-level Team Members (formerly Product Owners) and ensure alignment across their respective product backlogs.
Provide strategic input and decision-making, manage and reduce blockers, and ensure continuous workflow. Assist pod owners in refining and reprioritizing their backlogs.
Provide day-to-day guidance to guide Product/Platform operations and evaluate the impact of the Product against established scorecards.
Manage issue escalations and risks, while also tracking financials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that address client needs.
Provide strategic direction to enterprise teams working on cross-platform deliveries.
Be accountable for all risks originating from services delivered, including remediation efforts. Own, manage, and aggregate views of risk across the organization.
Leverage a comprehensive understanding of the product set to drive design or development considerations and validate the support model for post-rollout.
Manage product direction, strategy, and overall related project execution plans.
May also serve as a Lead Professional, guiding other team members within a product area to define and deliver solutions, managing their day-to-day work.
Contribute to achieving Product Management objectives.
Promote agile ways of working, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
To excel in this role, we seek the following qualifications:
12 years of related experience required, with expertise in the syndicated loan market, private wealth loans, administrative agent roles, or other loan-type asset classes, as well as money movement, reconciliations, and trading.
Success in establishing new teams, fostering growth and development, promoting agile ways of working, and encouraging collaborative teamwork.
Effective coaching and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence, make tough decisions, and solve problems.
Skill in breaking down highly complex loan initiatives into small epics and stories that deliver incremental business value.
Passion for challenging the status quo, driving innovative thinking, and adapting to change.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, computer science engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
10 years of product experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
