We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Research & Strategy to join our Solutions Innovation team. This role is located in New York - HYBRID / REMOTE
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :
- Leads research, data mining, creation of executive presentations, and creation of databases. Presents findings to executives and senior management.
- Leverages internal and external databases, public websites, and news outlets for purposes of data analysis, and aggregation.
- Partner with top BNY leaders to distribute business opportunities, threats and intelligence across the Bank, through analyzing key market trends, competitor strategies, M&A activity etc.
- Leads the use and application of advanced statistical methods to examine and analyze data on clients and the marketplace to support business development, segmentation / opportunity analyses, sales strategies and special projects.
- Develops strategies for specific client segments and engagement channels using gathered insights.
- Validates the use of emerging technology, strategies and value to support the evolving needs of market intelligence research.
- Maintain a strong external orientation and provide market “intelligence” and impact analysis from clients, industry, and other thought leaders to senior BNY Management and the Executive Committee.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external resources to support activities. (i.e. wider internal management across business leads, sales teams, client servicing, product management, and external agencies).
- Contributes to assessment of performance. Leads more complex projects or large / global scope.
