Job Summary:

Join our dynamic Production Services! We are dedicated to maintaining cutting-edge technology environments for BNY. We are seeking a skilled individual to optimize Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. If you are a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for innovation, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle databases while ensuring data integrity and security.
• Participate in planning and executing database migrations and application software upgrades.
• Enforce data integrity across multiple platforms and provide input into design issues/constraints.
• Manage logins, user accounts, assign database object permissions, and ancillary privileges.
• Schedule and manage data transfers/jobs, monitor performance impact on operations.
• Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, identify problems, and implement solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of experience working with Oracle database systems.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, performance tuning, backup/recovery procedures.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with database best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in ServiceNow
