Located at the Boar's Head Resort in Charlottesville, the Boar's Head Outfitters design and implement exciting outdoor adventures for resort guests, club members, and the communities in and around Charlottesville, Va.

Position Overview:
Leading outdoor adventures on and off resort property.
Activities include Kayaking, SUP, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Biking, Hiking, Paintball, Belaying, Corporate Team-building, and Birthday Parties.
Guides are responsible for facilitating a fun, safe, high energy experiences to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading outdoor adventures
- Staffing an on-site rockwall in the sports club
- Monitoring the gymnasium adjacent to the rockwall
- Working the activities desk making and taking reservations and sales calls
- General maintenance and upkeep of gear and activity areas
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- ≥ 18 years of age
- Prior experience in customer service
- Love for the outdoors
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to be part of a high energy motivated team
- Clean background check
- Must have valid driver's license
- ability to lift 25 pounds
Preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification (must be obtained if hired)
- Experience working with children
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
- Higher education helpful
Job Types: Part-time or Full Time seasonal, options to transition to year round employment
Salary: $11.00 /hour with commission and tips
