The Administrative Specialist performs a variety of administrative and operations support activities that are critical to the operations of the company. Provide administrative support to the clinical team, medical team and operations.
Coordinate patient intake process.
Greet patients as they arrive into the facility and provide them with appropriate information.
Complete the patient intake process; reviewing, explaining and documenting forms
Perform various clerical duties including: answering telephones, taking messages, scheduling appointments, faxing and copying.
Enter information in the patient electronic health record.
Schedule patients for appointments and make certain that follow up calls are made in a timely manner.
Ensure that patient information is obtained correctly and filed properly.
Maintain reports and spreadsheets as directed.
Organize, record and share information on basic financial documents.
Assist with projects as assigned.
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience with SUD/MH population preferred
