Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals and drinks. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the appropriate systems, such as OpenTable.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Process payments using the cash register, ensuring accurate handling of transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and drinks to enhance the dining experience.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures throughout service.
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation requirements in the food service industry.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in food service or working in a nightclub environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with sales techniques to promote menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
