Job Overview
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting our properties, assisting prospective tenants, and ensuring a seamless leasing process. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.
Duties
- Work with Property Managers on community marketing efforts, including social media, outreach events, and promotions.
- Handle inquiries via phone, text, and email with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct in person and self-guided property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospects to nurture leads and maintain relationships.
- Ensure applications are complete and income verification documents are in order before submitting them to Property Managers for final approval.
- Achieve leasing goals by effectively closing prospects and working with Property Managers to secure lease agreements.
- Meet with Property Managers and the Regional regularly to report traffic and suggest marketing adjustment needs.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative ideas for prospect engagement.
- Remote and in person leasing. Travel between properties as needed to provide support where required.
- Adapt quickly to the unique needs and policies of each property in the portfolio
Skills
- Prior experience in multi-family leasing is preferred but not required for the right personality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with AppFolio or like property management software preferred.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between properties.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Preferred but not required
