JOB OVERVIEW
Operate equipment for routine tasks as instructed and perform routine manual labor or
related work as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
- Rake and edge sand bunkers.
- Change cups and pin locations, while re-locating tee markers.
- Hand water greens and tees.
- Weed eat and weed flower beds.
- Dig holes and trenches.
- Rake, blow and pick-up leaves.
- Empty trash and clean work areas.
- Assist with irrigation maintenance.
- Assist with snow removal.
- Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work outdoors in the field approximately 90% of the time and indoors 10% of the time.
Required to work independently on tasks approximately 70% of the work day, while
working with co-workers on various projects 30% of the time.
Requirements:Essential
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends and nights if needed.
- Ability to learn how to operate golf course maintenance equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous golf course maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of the game of golf.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
All team members must learn and comply with all Resort safety rules; must use appropriate safety equipment at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features or equipment, machinery or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisor if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.
