Boaters’ World Marine Centers seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team at the Lake Placid location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of the dealership, ensuring smooth business processes, and supporting our management team in achieving business objectives. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient operations, managing financial documentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist in the coordination of daily operations, including office tasks, data entry, and filing systems.
- Organize and maintain all company records, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, and inventory logs.
- Support the General Manager and other team members with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting customers with general information about products and services.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and services for customers, ensuring smooth transactions and timely follow-ups.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all dealership operations comply with state and federal regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee and maintain compliance documents, including insurance policies, service contracts, and warranty records.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Take on additional responsibilities as required by the management team to support the overall growth of the dealership.
- Scan and audit all Deal folders from Business office.
- Enter all Consignment Agreements into our DMS System.
Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in business administration, management, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or business management experience, preferably in the marine, automotive, or retail industry.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and administrative data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Knowledge of marine products and services is a plus but not required.
