Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for a top-tier MerCruiser Technician to help take our team to the next level!
As a MerCruiser Technician at Boater's World, you will have the opportunity to receive multi-line training and certification with Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda, along with competitive pay, great benefits, and room for career advancement within the Outdoor Network group of companies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Rig, diagnose, maintain, and repair MerCruiser inboard and sterndrive engines.
- Troubleshoot and inspect mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure all repairs meet quality standards.
- Install, remove, and replace OEM and aftermarket accessories.
- Perform lake tests as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations.
- Prepare new units for customer delivery.
General Duties
- Accurately report billable labor hours to the Service Manager.
- Submit parts requests to the Parts Advisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Actively participate in training and certifications to enhance skills.

Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of marine motor mechanics
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a Marine Mechanic
- Manufacturer certification and MMI graduate preferred - Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser.
- Able to interpret complex instructions and/or specification
- Knowledge and practice of shop safety procedures
- Detail-oriented while maintaining high productivity
- Ability to work Saturdays
Working Conditions
- Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours

- The position is Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week and Sunday.
