Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. The purpose of the Sales Representative is to grow the sales of our extensive portfolio on the route in which they are assigned. The Sales Representative is responsible for sales, promotions, special events, incentives, new product introductions, distribution, and inventory within their accounts. Sales Representative lay the groundwork for their sales team to be successful. They analyze the market, run focus groups and craft pitches for other Sales Representatives to use in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with Anheuser-Busch marketing policies and the Equity Agreement.
- Work with other senior managers to coordinate the Company’s overall mission.
- Act as the liaison between Bob Hall, LLC and its suppliers.
- Work to enhance the Company’s and the industry image with its legislators.
- Maintain close contact with the retail community.
- Complete projects as assigned by the General Manager.
- Perform all other duties requested by management.
Duties:
- Maintain an aggressive selling posture to safeguard and improve the sales and distribution of our total package line within an assigned area.
- Sells position improvements and increased facings for our total package line.
- Sells displays on a regular basis of all company products when applicable.
- Uses planned call when serving each account to insure a maximum sales effort.
- Books permanent P.O.S. material on a regular basis, places temporary P.O.S., (i.e., paper, table tents, etc.)
- Follows an established total-call frequency schedule.
- Keeps all record information current, i.e., route books, computer, etc., neatly and accurately.
- Downloads handheld computers three times a day; mid-morning, midafternoon and final download of the day.
- Uses forms provided to report placement of displays or P.O.S.
- Keeps regional management informed weekly as to conditions and competitive activity in his/her assigned area.
- Make recommendations to the regional sales manager to combat competitive activity and improve quality of sales, merchandising, and programs or promotions.
- Maintains safe working and driving habits.
- Always keeps inside and outside of company car in neat and clean condition.
- Maintains neat personal appearance and follows company dress code.
- Is responsible for rotation of stock as allowed by governing laws. Responsible for total quality control.
- Check code dates on all brand and all packages he/she sells to ensure quality control. Notify appropriate company personnel of any out of date beer which must be picked up.
- Orders, follows-up and delivers Supplier Partner promotional products as requested by the retail customers.
- Specific Sales Representative activity, i.e., building displays, merchandising, organizing back rooms.
- Responsible for forecasting sales on a weekly basis and evaluating and addressing excessive inventories.
- Sales Representative, as well as other employees, will comply with all Company policies, rules, and regulations, which are subject to change as times and conditions warrant.
Requirements
Physical demands and abilities:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or ability to move objects that weigh more than 165 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
