The ideal candidate will have basic accounting skills, accounts payable experience, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review, match, and voucher all vendor invoices with appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Resolve invoice variances to ensure all invoices and purchase orders are properly accounted.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments including to ensure that all matters are handled timely and adhere to procedures.
- Assist the month end close process.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
Qualifications
Compensation Range: $18.00 - $25.00
