Responsibilities
- Perform complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly as needed to properly asses collision related damages
- Work closely with collision estimator to ensure all repairs are accurately recorded and estimated for insurance companies and customer pay repairs
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Perform necessary collision related repairs, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the process.
- Conduct welding tasks to repair vehicle components or install new vehicle parts per OEM recommendations
- Collaborate with team members in a repair facility setting to ensure timely completion of services.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during vehicle repairs or part installations.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive mechanics with hands-on experience in repair and maintenance.
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques, including welding and painting processes.
- Familiarity with collision repair facility operations is a plus but not required.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily responsibilities.
