TTP Entertainment is seeking a resourceful, collaborative and detail-oriented HEAD OF WARDROBE to join the growing production team that will deliver Bob Marley Hope Road at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The Head of Wardrobe is responsible for the coordination, staffing and scheduling of the Wardrobe Department. This role is responsible for maintaining the artistic integrity of the show costumes as described by the costume designer, and for performing other show tasks as needed to support live performances, including cue tracks, as directed by the Bob Marley Hope Road Technical Direction team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to interpret Designer concepts and implement into finished costume;
- Must work well under pressure;
- Must possess experience with a wide variety of modern theatrical wardrobe equipment including plastics, dyers, grommet machines, laundry machinery, millinery, haberdashery;
- Must be able to research new fabrics to sustain the current theatrical environment while maintaining the artistic integrity of the original costume design;
- Show willingness to define practice and conform to safe working procedure in constantly changing theatrical environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise repair and maintenance of all Costume, Shoe and Wig repair and Show operation;
- Direct Wardrobe crew in operation during performance;
- Responsible for creating and managing budget for wardrobe operation, and tracking purchases and supplies;
- Responsible for Wardrobe department crew scheduling and managing crew needs.
Education/Experience
- B.A. Theatre related major preferred but not essential
- Proof of current OSHA Training (within the last 3 years) if not, complete a 30-hour OSHA training course.

- This position will require sitting for extended periods, standing, bending, and walking, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing.

- Ability to occasionally reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Must be able to physically stand, walk, and climb stairs on a consistent basis.
- This position could be exposed to loud noises, and frequent phone conversations, and requires average to above average visual acuity and hearing.
- Most of this job will be performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
Compensation/Additional Information
Expected weekly rate: $1700.00. TTP Entertainment also offers excellent medical, dental and vision insurance, plus additional paid time off.
This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and operates in a full-time in-person capacity. This individual is expected to work primarily onsite at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
