The Warehouse Manager is required to oversee the daily operations in the warehouse location. They are responsible for monitoring the furniture that arrives from various vendors as well as monitoring it as it goes out to customers. They are also responsible for keeping inventory counts correct and keeping the warehouse space clean and organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform opening/closing duties
- Run daily reports
- Supervise daily operations
- Create employee schedules
- Delegate tasks to Warehouse Assistant Managers and Warehouse Supervisors
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of previous warehouse management experience required
- Proven leadership and management ability
- Ability withstand the elements (hot and cold weather)
- Must be able to stay on feet for long periods at a time
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a labor intensive environment
- High School Diploma/GED required
