The Floor Technician works closely with the Decorator to insure a visually pleasing experience for customers. They are responsible for opening and assembling new products that are to be displayed on the floor, as well as removing sold products from the floor. Qualified applicants will be willing to work hard and strive to constantly meet deadlines set forth by the Decorator and the Buyers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pull product from the warehouse and prepare for display on the showroom floor
- Work closely with the Decorator to arrange the furniture in a stylish and appealing way
- Keeping the furniture groups properly lit which includes but is not limited to adjusting the light direction, changing burned out light bulbs, etc.
- Tag furniture and accessories with the correct tags and pricing
- Clean-up work area after opening/assembling new products
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Time management ability
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- HS Diploma
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
