Here’s what you will be doing:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general building maintenance in addition to maintenance and repair of equipment. This role will maintain a clean and safe work area and operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Maintenance and repair of forklifts and other industrial equipment
- General building maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Lawn care/snow removal
- Carpentry/painting
- Electrical Work
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Report any and all unsafe conditions
- All other duties as assigned
This is what you will need:
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
- General building maintenance skills
- Ability to efficiently utilize general hand tools, saws, drills, etc.
- Must have knowledge of forklift or industrial equipment repair and operation.
- Able to multitask and manage competing priorities
