Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily office operations
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with tax preparation
- Conduct technical accounting tasks, including financial analysis and reporting
- Utilize QuickBooks software for bookkeeping and financial management
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
