We are a manufacturer looking for a mature Bookkeeper/Inventory administrator to assist our production and shipping teams in maintaining records, data entry, work orders, and receive requests for materials and equipment for the company. The bookkeeper/Inventory administrator also prepares purchase orders, reviews invoice listed prices, makes necessary pricing adjustments, and compiles reports to show information and statistics. Perfect Part Time Position with Flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for office admin duties including: maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors.
  • Provide general support to staff.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Addresses employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, and security services.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Front office manager, Inventory manager or Administrative assistant
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines, scanners and printers)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a Plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
