We are a manufacturer looking for a mature Bookkeeper/Inventory administrator to assist our production and shipping teams in maintaining records, data entry, work orders, and receive requests for materials and equipment for the company. The bookkeeper/Inventory administrator also prepares purchase orders, reviews invoice listed prices, makes necessary pricing adjustments, and compiles reports to show information and statistics. Perfect Part Time Position with Flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point person for office admin duties including: maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
- Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors.
- Provide general support to staff.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
- Addresses employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
- Liaise with facility management vendors, and security services.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Front office manager, Inventory manager or Administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines, scanners and printers)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a Plus.
