Why You're Here

• Work directly with the CFO to perform accounting and finance responsibilities.
• Perform accounting and financial transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections and payroll coordination.
• Perform business and administrative functions associated with accounting activities.
• Coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
• Participate in collaborating and strategizing with the CFO on financial and business operations to maximize revenue and identify areas of improvement and cost savings.
• Prepare, in coordination with the CFO, financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of departments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Perform financial modeling functions to support business decisions.
• Participate in establishing and implementing short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Serve as the location’s primary liaison relative to company financial issues.
• Participate in applicable financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Coordinate tax preparation with accountants and the CFO.

Some must haves to qualify

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years’ experience in an Accounting role.
• Knowledge of finance and accepted accounting principles.
• General knowledge of automated financial, accounting and payroll reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

The physical stuff

• Physical activities and demands associated with an office role, including, but not limited to, sitting, typing, talking and use of general office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
