Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires someone with a keen eye for accuracy and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is efficiently managed, and our customers receive the right parts promptly. You will navigate vendor portals and parts books, facilitating the ordering of products while effectively managing department metrics such as revenue and dead stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Respond to inbound phone inquiries, expertly navigating vendor portals and referencing parts books to accurately fulfill customer requests and inquiries regarding parts availability.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory system that accounts for seasonal fluctuations; meticulously track and review departmental metrics to improve performance and reduce dead stock.
- Planning: Develop and implement plans for stock organization, showroom displays, and product placement to optimize sales and enhance customer experience. Organize and maintain the showroom to ensure a clean, appealing layout that highlights featured products and drives customer engagement.
- Problem-solving: Utilize creative, outside-the-box thinking to address challenges in inventory management and customer inquiries. Proactively identify solutions that benefit the department and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with dynamic problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering quality interactions with customers and team members.
- Experience in parts or a related field, with a strong track record of accurately ordering and supplying parts preferred.
- Proficient with technology as you will be using vendor portals and parts catalogs to facilitate order management.
