As Regional Director of Operations serving the Ocala and Jacksonville stores, you will act as a key leadership figure, tasked with steering operational excellence in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. This role emphasizes driving rental revenue growth, expanding market share, fostering coworker development, and ensuring the service departments deliver exceptional quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will adeptly balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategic initiatives, all while cultivating a culture rooted in care, collaboration, and high performance. 

Business Hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday

Job Duties:

  1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion 
    1. Drive Rental Revenue growth by:
      1. Implementing and executing strategies to maximize rental revenue across both locations while achieving key financial metrics (i.e. Financial Utilization).  
      2. Analyzing market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies to meet customer needs. Increasing Sales and Rental Market Share: 
    2. Increase Sales and Rental market share by: 
      1. Developing and overseeing initiatives to expand market presence and capture greater market share in both sales and rentals. 
      2. Collaborating with Sales Teams to identify high-potential markets and develop targeted growth plans. 
  2. Staffing & Team Development
    1. Coworker Development: 
      1.  Support mentoring coworkers, fostering professional growth and leadership development opportunities. 
      2. Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused culture that values collaboration and shared success. 
    2. Staffing: 
      1. Ensure both locations are properly staffed with highly skilled and motivated team members. 
      2. Collaborate with President of Branch Ops and HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent aligned with core values. 
  3. Operational Excellence & Sustainability
    1. Strengthening and Managing Service Departments: 
      1. Oversee service departments to ensure they deliver high-quality, efficient, and reliable service to customers while balancing our business model including rental-first focus.  
      2. Develop and implement best practices to enhance service capabilities and customer satisfaction. 
    2. Address operational challenges proactively, creating solutions that are both sustainable and considerate of all business segments. 
    3. Balance immediate operational needs with long-term growth and planning. 
  4. Leadership & Collaboration 
    1. Lead and support Location Managers (LMs) and Sales Teams in Ocala and Jacksonville, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, fully understand The Leppo Way.  
    2. Work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that promote overall business growth.  
    3. Serve as a central point of accountability for both locations, ensuring teams meet or exceed performance expectations. 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. In place of a degree, an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and specialized training in a related field may be accepted. 
  • 3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
  •  

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in operations (equipment rental or retail operations preferred)
  • Proven success in driving sales, managing multi-store operations, and opening new retail locations.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance department quality and efficiency. 
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on team-building and customer engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Capacity to handle complex challenges and implement sustainable solutions. 
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly between store locations in Ocala and Jacksonville. (presence required onsite at each store)
  • Knowledge of HR practices and regulations.
