Systems Administrator Job Summary

As a Systems Administrator, you'll support the IT Director & Information Security Officer in managing and maintaining our cutting-edge technology infrastructure within a regulated financial environment. You'll play a key role in our Azure cloud environment and day-to-day technology operations across our four branches, ensuring security and regulatory compliance. We're looking for candidates with experience in Microsoft technologies, networking, and security fundamentals who understand the unique requirements of banking systems.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Assist with the bank's cloud environment implementation and maintenance
- Support virtual machine management and networking configuration
- Help maintain connectivity between branches and cloud resources
- Implement security controls as directed
- Contribute to system documentation and procedures
- Support backup and recovery processes
- Apply industry best practices and remain current on cloud security developments
Systems & Applications
- Help manage all endpoints across four branches
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration
- Perform system updates and maintenance
- Support user account management
- Assist with SharePoint, Teams, and phone system administration
Networking & Security
- Help maintain network infrastructure for branches
- Support implementation of security configurations
- Assist with VPN management
- Contribute to monitoring and security practices
- Help implement banking-specific security controls
- Support compliance with financial regulations and security requirements
- Assist with security audits and examinations
Support & Operations
- Provide technical support to employees
- Help maintain documentation
- Assist with user training when needed
- Participating in projects assigned

Qualifications
Required
- Experience with Windows systems administration
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
- Familiarity with security best practices
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience with Azure and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of banking/financial industry regulations (FFIEC, GLBA, etc.)
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune
- Understanding of Windows Server administration
- Experience with SQL Server basics
- Experience with security audits in regulated environments
- Relevant technical certifications such as:
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Security
- Or equivalent experience and knowledge
Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Amarillo, Texas
- Primarily on-site with occasional after-hours support as needed
