Job Description
The HR Business Partner provides Employee Relations support to the field and Corporate HR by performing the following duties.
JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries from employees / managers regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepares corrective action documents and, as applicable, employee separation notices and related documentation, after reviewing circumstances and advising management of potential risks.
- Investigates internal complaints of harassment / discrimination and other employment-related issues.
- Assists Corporate Benefits in the administration of FMLA and ADA.
- Responds to complaints from federal / state / local agencies related to workplace harassment / discrimination.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
- Participates in management training for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and harassment / discrimination, as needed / requested.
- Represents organization at employment-related hearings and investigations.
